About this course

The Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) of Assessment Processes and Practice (previously V1) focuses on verifying the decisions and competencies of assessors.

The course has two units:
  1.  Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment 
  2.  Internally assure the quality of assessment 

The course assessment is a portfolio of evidence that consists of a written assignment for Unit 1 and practical IQA evidence monitoring two assessors for Unit 2.

Classroom

Our two day classroom course is delivered regularly in central London.

Day 1 covers the principles of IQA, preparing you for the Unit 1 written assessment. Day 2 takes you through the practical requirements for the Unit 2 portfolio of evidence.

After the classroom days you are given one month to submit the Unit 1 written assessments and three months to submit the practical portfolio for Unit 2.

This format is for clients with a group of staff requiring the qualification. 

The course can be tailored to companies specific needs and up to twelve staff can be trained on each course.

This option allows you to study remotely from home or work, with two virtual teaching days. 

The same content as our classroom course is covered, preparing you for the theoretical assessment for Unit 1 and the practical evidence for Unit 2.

You are giving a three month deadline after the teaching days to submit your assessments for both units.
